Program Qualifications

The first step towards starting your own business is getting some help and sound advice. If you meet the requirements below, we can provide you with free assistance. If you do not meet the requirements below, we encourage you to find a Business Development Center in your area for help.

Eligibility requirements for NABEC clientele:

• Individual must be a member of a federally recognized tribe
  
• Individual must have more than 50% ownership in the business
  
• Individual must plan to be an active manager of the business
  
• Business must be located in or near Minnesota
