Birchberry Coats & Blankets is a manufacturing company established by Heidi Grika in November 2000. Ms Grika contacted the NABEC office and scheduled an appointment, and came into the office with a dream "to start her own company". She discussed ideas she wanted to pursue and asked where and how to get financing to start her business.

After the first contact, NABEC worked with her by telephone and fax to help her complete and obtain a loan package. Now Ms Grika has a shop located at 4401 Fance Ave South, Edina MN. You can also see her work on her web site.
